Admission is $5 for anyone who’s volunteered with SFSI in the past six months, and $15 for the general public.

These classes do not necessarily fulfill Continuing Education requirements for professional societies. If a class counts as professional development hours for a particular profession (ie. nurses, therapists or teachers) it will be noted in the class description.

Interviews for training will be held on Tue, Oct 6th at 7pm and Sat, Oct 17th at 1pm — interview meetings typically include an introduction to SFSI and last about 90 minutes.

To sign up, please fill out our Training application form.

Training dates will be:
Oct 24th/25th Weekend 1: Intro to SFSI Style Sex Education
Nov 7th/8th Weekend 2: Sex and Medical Science
Nov 21st/22nd Weekend 3: Sex and Social Science
Dec 5th/6th Weekend 4: Sex: All the rest
Training typically starts at 9am and ends around 5 or 6pm each day. This may be modified on some days, so ask.

Please fill out an application if you are interested in attending an orientation/group interview. Note that we cannot offer alternative or individual interviews; so if you cannot attend either of the scheduled orientation/group interview sessions for a given training, you will have to wait to apply to a later training.

The beer booth is one of our regular fund-raising efforts and a great way to help out the organization while you’re at the Fair. We have had tons of fun the last three years slinging beverages. Like all San Francisco Sex Information events the booth is staffed entirely by volunteers. Come help us make this year the best so far!

The booth is located at the NE end of the Fair, near the 7th Street stage. We’ll be the first beer booth you see if you’re coming from 7th Street. Grab a beer before heading over to the live music, or on your way down the main drag.
